Three/21 recently shot Part II of the Behind The Scenes with Statik Selektah and Colin Munroe out in Queens, NY. Statik and Colin talk about how they linked up on this eclectic collabo. Shout out to Colin for coming through and look for Part III of the BTS featuring Wale coming soon. Enjoy!

Consequence feat. Asher Roth – “Childish Games” BTS

Three/21 recently shot with Cons to the Quence and Asher Roth in New York City for the track “Childish Games” on Cons’ upcoming mixtape “Movies On Demand”. This joint features some dope production by Mr. Attic and one of the best uses of a Biggie sample heard in a long time. Shout out to Statik Selektah for providing the cuts and be on the lookout for this vid next month. Band Camp Records is in the building!

Skillz – “09 Rap Up” World Premiere

Directed By Derek Pike

Last week I did the Skillz “09 Rap Up” video.  In this record Skillz references to many different people and events that were in the media this past year, so the challenge with this video was coming up with a concept that would tie everything together. I felt that creating a “Skillz” gossip magazine would make a lot of sense for this. Despite the cold, and a parking ticket the shoot went smoothly. Shout out to everyone that came through, Evan Wunsch, Andy Vaval, Dan Dealy, Sound H, Gerald Vaughan aka Tiger, Cassidy Gard aka Elin Nordegren,  and of course Kat Kallergis on the Steadicam.

Statik Selektah feat. Bun B – “So Close, So Far” BTS

Yesterday, Three/21 shot with the homie Statik Selektah and the legendary Bun B in Brooklyn, NY. This is Part I of a three part series since we’ll be shooting this video on multiple days. It’s definitely one of Statik’s most mature track to date and the narrative concept built around Statik’s life will definitely bring those feelings home. Shout out to Bun B for coming through and look for Part II of the BTS featuring Colin Monroe coming soon. Enjoy!

HEN-ROQ – “Henny’s Kite” World Premiere

Directed By Derek Pike

This is the third and final video of this three part series that I shot off of HEN-ROQ’s “Nightmare on South Park” album which is available on iTunes now. This video was shot entirely in Elizabeth, NJ and features the loved ones of those who passed away that HEN-ROQ talks about on the record. This was an emotional video for HEN-ROQ so those tears are real!

Skillz – “Wrap Up 2009″ BTS

Directed By Derek Pike

The other day I shot the “Wrap Up 2009″ video with Skillz. This is the second video that Skillz has ever shot for the annual rap up. I’ve been a fan of the rap up since I was 13 so I was excited about getting the oppurtunity to do the video this year. The shoot went well, between running back and forth from the shot location to the munimeter we we were able to get some good footage.  Big shout out to everyone involved, Evan Wunsch, Andy Vaval, Dan Dealy, Cassidy Card, Gerald Vaughan and Kat Kallergis. Look out for the video dropping later this week!

Freeway & Jake One – “Know What I Mean” World Premiere

Three/21 and Rhymesayers Entertainment present Freeway and Jake One’s latest music video “Know What I Mean” off their new album “Stimulus Package”. The track features some aggressive and hypnotic production by Jake One and throughout the video, Free gives some words of wisdom on how to survive in the hood. “I’m the MC with a hammer that’s too legit to quit.” Shout out to Siddiq and Skye over at Rhymesayers for the look.
